Pricing
What it costs
$360 for up to 10 kids, 1.5 hours, all materials included
$30 per extra child, up to 16 kids in the studio
$5 per child firing fee for clay parties, covers the first firing, gloss glazing by our ceramicist and the glaze firing
$90 public holiday surcharge
$50 Sunday surcharge
Prices valid until 30 December 2026.
Fewer than 8 kids coming? Let us know and we will throw in a special gift for the birthday child.
When
When we run them
Studio parties run at our Mudgeeraba studio, Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays, subject to availability. Want us to come to you? We do mobile parties as well, a travel surcharge may apply.
The three parties
Pick a project
Ceramic Clay Party
Each kid makes a tea cup and saucer, a decorative bowl or a vase, then paints it in colourful underglaze. Every piece is gloss glazed by our ceramicist and fired at Picasso's in Currumbin. Pieces are ready to collect 6 to 8 weeks after the party, ready to actually drink and eat from.
Add $5 per child for firing.
Canvas Party
Tell us your theme and we will build the session around it. Acrylic or watercolour, with options that work for skills as young as 5. Past favourites: unicorn stencils, rainbow cupcakes, mountains at sunset, sunset island. Ask us for the PDF of examples and let the birthday kid choose.
Crafty Party
Beaded crystal sun-catchers, charmed phone covers, fairy doors, air-dry clay trinket trays, mini jewellery boxes, polymer clay necklaces, earrings and hairclips, or calming glitter jars. Tie dye is available as a mobile party option. Ask us for a PDF of examples and let the birthday kid choose.
The food question
Food and cake
We are unable to have food on the tables while mini-artists are creating due to health regulations. Here are your cake and food options:
Stay with us. Add 30 minutes to the end of your party for $50. We clear the art away and wipe the tables down, then you set up food right here.
Head out. There are picnic parks within walking distance and cafes in our shopping centre. We always recommend the Mudgee Bah Espresso Cafe for bigger groups. Make sure you call and book with them.
Cancellations
If plans change
More than 7 days notice: refund minus the 20% booking fee. Not available on already transferred credit.
Less than 7 days notice, cancelling or postponing: credit.
Within 72 hours of the party: no refund or credit.
