CREATE AND SIP FOR ADULTS
For years you’ve been asking us to bring our Artlis brand of creative fun to a more grown up level. Well now we have… although we can’t promise it’s more grown up… just more made for the “grown ups”!
Artlis Studios new White Studio is ready for adults to come and play! Our new adults sessions are run by local artists and our very own teachers and will include everything from crochet and acrylic paintings, to vision boards and life drawing sessions. BYO snacks and drinks, we have everything else you need including materials, paintbrushes, canvasses, glassware, tea and coffee and a fridge for your bubbly!
Every session is planned so we have plenty of time to socialise and experiment with the mediums we are using, and create an amazing masterpiece for you to take home and hang in your personal gallery. We also do private group sessions for 6-12 artists, so if you have a birthday party, or something special you want to celebrate in a creative way, give us a call and we can personalise a lesson just for you and your friends.
Coffee and Create Pottery Workshop
Spend the morning with coffee, cake and clay. Create your own ceramic bowl, mug or platter under the guidance of Michaela, our resident sculptor! We will then fire it and glaze it, ready for you to pick up and use in your own home.
Bowls/platters/mugs become dishwasher safe and oven proof after firing.
Ticket price includes 1 Barista made coffee, cake, clay and all firing costs. Plus if you have kids we will give you a special discount code for them to join Miss Ella’s Expressive Painting class running simultaneously downstairs, so you can be sure your kids are having fun while you relax and create.
Mumma and me workshops
Do you remember what it felt like to NOT CARE what your artwork looks like? In the process of growing up we often forget how to experiment. We judge our creativity based on it’s outcome, rather than the process and what we have learnt along the way.
Our mini-artists are just at that stage where they are learning what is is to judge themselves and start critiquing their artwork based on what it looks like.
Our Mumma and me workshops are designed to help you let go of your expectations, connect with your mini-artist and create some beautiful artwork in the process.
We have two Mumma and me workshops available this school holidays, and Dads are welcome too!!
Watercolour Botanicals with Michaela
Come join us for another create and sip art class where Michaela will take you through the process of creating a variety of flowers in watercolour while you enjoy a glass your favourite wine or beer and have fun with a sparkly bunch of likeminds.
Every artist will create around 6 x A4 watercolour florals using a range of watercolour techniques, and choose the best 3 to frame, ready to hang as a triptych in their own home!
Our adult workshops are aimed at beginner to intermediate artists. No experience is necessary and we promise you’ll leave with skills you didn’t realise you had!
BYO wine, beer and snacks (or a whole pizza if you like!). We have glassware, tea, coffee and biscuits.
Inner Child Workshop with Michaela
Do you remember what it felt like to NOT CARE what your artwork looks like? In the process of growing up we often forget how to experiment. We judge our creativity based on it’s outcome, rather than the process and what we have learnt along the way. We want to be perfect, and create something that is eye pleasing – and if we can’t, we give up.
This workshop is designed to connect you with your inner child, nurture the little part of you that just wants to play. When we play, we learn! Even as adults!
Use a variety of mediums to stick, paint, draw, etch, and splash your way to an artwork full of growth and learning in collaboration with your inner child.
